St. David's United Church will hold tomorrow's service

in Kirk Hall due to the extreme

heat.

The Scouts will continue their Hot Dog Lunch event afterward.

What a wonderful turnout for our Canada Day Choir!

We were blessed by their musical leadership throughout the service.

St. David's United Church generously supported Operation Sharing's summer deodorant drive. Pastor Nancy pictured with Tim Dukes, Executor Director of Operation Sharing.

Beginning July 8th, Pastor Nancy would like to invite you to an informal time of conversation.

Each Tuesday morning from

10-11am, come and get together for a visit. 

Please bring a lawn chair and refreshment and plan to join her on the side lawn out by Kirk Hall. 

Any Tuesday the weather doesn't cooperate,  space in our church will be provided, to gather.

She has reserved a spot on the lawn, under the shade of the tree, just for you!!

 will be buns stuffed with meat, cheese and lettuce along with a veggie packet.

 If you would like to contribute

 please see the UCW bulletin board.

Although UCW takes a break for the summer months

 we do continue to cater for our St. David's family

should the need arise.

 September 9 at 1:30 pm.

Tim Dukes will speak about Operation Sharing.

This should be a real learning experience for all.

THE CREATION BANNERS

These banners hang in the sanctuary and are adapted from a Watkins Stained Glass design.

They depict the six days of the creation story found in Genesis 1:1-27.

~ The Six Days of Creation ~

1. Let there be light

2. Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters

3. Let the earth bring forth grass, herbs that yield seeds, trees that yield fruit

4. Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide day from night

5. Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures and let birds fly above the earth

6. Let there be creatures living on the land. And, finally, God created man in his own image
