Operation Grocery Kart Update

May is here and we will be collecting items for “Seniors in Food Crisis”.

Lists are printed on pink sheets and are available at the back of the Sanctuary. Let us do our best to help these folks who are struggling.

To the best of my knowledge, this organization receives no outside financial assistance.

They will take priority. Thank you for your anticipated support.

Thx to Sobey's for packaging 200 - $10 and $15 grab bags. The food is distributed by 50 volunteers. The founders of "Seniors in Food Crisis" were shocked at the amount of donations received.

THE CREATION BANNERS

These banners hang in the sanctuary and are adapted from a Watkins Stained Glass design.

They depict the six days of the creation story found in Genesis 1:1-27.

~ The Six Days of Creation ~

1. Let there be light

2. Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters

3. Let the earth bring forth grass, herbs that yield seeds, trees that yield fruit

4. Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide day from night

5. Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures and let birds fly above the earth

6. Let there be creatures living on the land. And, finally, God created man in his own image
